The company is currently looking for a talented Video Editor and Animation Specialist to join its creative team.
Key Responsibilities
As the Video Editor and Animation Specialist, you will:
- Edit and assemble long-form football podcast videos for YouTube.
- Create engaging Reels, TikToks, and other short-form social videos from creator-shot footage.
- Work with scripts, hooks, captions, music, graphics, and pacing to improve audience retention.
- Add animations, overlays, transitions, and visual effects where appropriate.
- Collaborate with content creators and other team members to understand creative direction.
- Maintain consistency in visual style and brand identity across different projects.
- Perform colour correction, audio balancing, and other post-production enhancements.
- Manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
- Optimise videos according to YouTube and social-media specifications.
- Keep up with current football, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and social-media content trends.
- Contribute creative ideas and take ownership of projects rather than waiting for step-by-step instructions.
Requirements
Interested candidates should have:
- Proven experience in video editing, particularly long-form content.
- Experience working in sports, entertainment, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or creator-led content is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of video editing workflows and YouTube publishing best practices.
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Final Cut Pro.
- A good understanding of animation, motion graphics, visual effects, colour correction, and audio editing.
- Strong visual storytelling and photography skills.
- A good eye for pacing, composition, aesthetics, and social-media trends.
- Knowledge of football culture, terminology, and current trends will be an advantage.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with creative teams.
- A high level of attention to detail, creativity, and ownership.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: ₦250,000 – ₦1,000,000 per month
The position is full-time and remote, based in Lagos.
