Job Overview

Abakon is looking for a creative video editor experienced in editing AI-powered storytelling content including:

• Crime stories
• Documentary-style videos
• Cinematic and narrative YouTube content

The ideal candidate should understand pacing, suspense creation, emotional storytelling, sound design, and editing techniques that keep viewers engaged.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality storytelling videos using AI-generated assets and voiceovers
• Create engaging YouTube and social media content
• Add transitions, subtitles, sound effects, cinematic effects, and background music
• Improve audience retention through creative editing
• Collaborate with the content team to meet deadlines
• Use AI tools and editing software to speed up production workflows

Requirements

• Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of YouTube storytelling and retention-based editing
• Experience editing documentary or crime-style content is an added advantage
• Good communication skills and reliable internet connection
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Knowledge of AI video generation tools is a plus
