About the Role

As a Video Editor, you will create compelling video content from events, fitness classes, campaigns, and social media footage. You’ll collaborate closely with the creative, marketing, and community teams to produce content that reflects the Sabi Sweat brand and engages audiences across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Production

• Edit raw footage into polished and engaging videos
• Organize, trim, and assemble clips to create compelling stories
• Optimize content for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns

Visual Enhancement

• Add transitions, captions, graphics, and visual effects
• Perform color grading to maintain a consistent brand aesthetic
• Ensure videos align with the organization’s visual identity

Audio & Motion Graphics

• Conduct basic audio cleanup and sound enhancement
• Create simple motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, and animations
• Improve overall video quality and viewer experience

Collaboration

• Work closely with creative, marketing, and community teams
• Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently
• Manage multiple projects while meeting agreed deadlines

Platform Optimization

• Export content in the correct formats and aspect ratios
• Create videos optimized for:
  • Instagram Reels
  • TikTok
  • YouTube
  • Stories and other social platforms

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Strong experience in video editing and video production
• Proficiency in color grading and visual storytelling
• Experience creating motion graphics and social media content
• Familiarity with editing software such as: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Or similar editing tools
• Basic audio editing and cleanup skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent time-management and project organization abilities
