About the Role
The Retail Relationship Management Officer (RRMO) will be responsible for driving business growth within the retail banking segment through customer acquisition, relationship management, deposit mobilization, and product sales.
Successful candidates will play a key role in expanding the bank’s customer base while delivering excellent customer service and supporting the achievement of branch business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Generation
- Acquire new retail customers and grow the branch customer base
- Mobilize low-cost deposits and achieve assigned deposit targets
- Promote and cross-sell banking products and services
- Drive sales of savings accounts, loans, cards, digital banking products, and related solutions
- Identify business opportunities within assigned territories
- Execute targeted marketing and business development initiatives
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Understand customer financial needs and recommend suitable solutions
- Improve customer retention and loyalty
- Increase product penetration and customer wallet share
Customer Service Excellence
- Deliver exceptional customer experience
- Resolve customer complaints promptly
- Escalate issues where necessary
- Ensure compliance with service standards and turnaround times
Credit & Risk Management
- Support retail loan processing activities
- Conduct preliminary credit assessments
- Ensure proper documentation of credit facilities
- Monitor customer accounts to reduce risk exposure
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies
- Adhere to KYC requirements and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate sales and customer records
- Prepare periodic performance and market reports
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Performance will be measured based on:
- Deposit mobilization and CASA growth
- Customer acquisition numbers
- Product sales volumes
- Revenue generation
- Customer retention and satisfaction
- Service delivery turnaround times
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 4–10 years experience in:
- Retail Banking
- Relationship Management
- Sales
- Business Development
