Job Description

The Oando Foundation Green Youth Upskilling Program (GYUP) is a transformative initiative designed to equip passionate and driven young Nigerians with the practical skills, knowledge, and resources needed to thrive in the evolving green and technical sectors.

This program provides hands-on training, access to funding opportunities, and exposure to innovative solutions in renewable energy, recycling innovation, sustainable agriculture, and climate technology.

Program Overview

The Oando Foundation is seeking ambitious young changemakers who are eager to build sustainable careers within the green economy.

The GYUP is strategically designed to support Nigeria’s transition to a sustainable and inclusive economy by investing in youth capacity development, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Through this initiative, participants gain future-focused skills that drive sustainability, foster innovation, and create economic opportunities.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the program, applicants must:

  • Be a Nigerian citizen within the age range of 20–35 years
  • Have completed at least secondary education (SSCE)
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in green and technical fields
  • Be fully available to participate in all program activities (virtual and/or physical)
  • Submit a complete application with all required documents before the deadline

Optional (but an added advantage):

  • Prior exposure to green or technical work through volunteering, internships, self-learning, or informal experience

Program Benefits
