Location: Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM – 5 PM EST

Responsibilities of the Remote Data Analyst at Scale Army Careers

• Write clean, efficient SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.
• Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Support analytics and reporting needs across teams.
• Work with cloud-based data sources (AWS S3, RDS) to streamline reporting workflows.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define KPIs, standardize metrics, and improve data integrity.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for growth.

Key Qualifications

• Proven experience with SQL for data analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, or data analysis.
• Strong experience with Tableau or other BI tools (Looker, Power BI).
• Comfortable working with cloud databases (AWS, GCP, or similar).
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with non-technical teams.
• Self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities independently.

Nice To Have

• Experience with data pipeline tools (Airflow, dbt).
