Job Description
We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Handler / Content Creator to manage our online presence, create engaging content, and grow our digital audience across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will combine creativity with analytics to deliver impactful strategies that strengthen Nairametrics’ brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow Nairametrics’ social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
- Develop, plan, and execute engaging content strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Create high-quality visual, written, and video content using tools such as Canva, Photoshop, and video editing software.
- Monitor industry trends, breaking news, and conversations to create timely and relevant content.
- Engage with online communities, respond to comments/messages, and build a strong follower base.
- Track, analyze, and report social media performance metrics to guide content strategy.
- Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to amplify campaigns and initiatives.
- Ensure consistency of brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across platforms.
Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc. / HND in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience in social media management and content creation.
- Proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, and video editing tools (Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar).
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
